The Lonely Coast
The first-born child of the All Father, the Lawgiver is the patron of Laws, of Justice, and of Procedure. She sprang fully formed from her Father’s head, and sits at his right hand. When His judgement is required, Lawgiver councils the All Father on the pertainant law or ruling so that He may make the most equitable decision. In the Empire, large temples to the Lawgiver frequently house monasteries, where sacred investigators pursue the mysteries of All Father’s Creation. Of such monks, it is said they would rather discover where spilled milk goes than to prevent or clean up the spill.
Along the Lonely Coast, the people whisper of a time, centuries ago, when the Lawgiver’s clergy performed a great work which protected the Empire. It is said that, after that day, the people and gods not of the Empire found its grounds to be inhospitable, and left.
